The text of Manukau's journey - a Manukau timeline is copyright to Manukau Libraries. Other material unless outside of copyright is copyright to the originator and is here reproduced with permission. The text relating to Waiuku and adjoining areas is used by permission of Bruce Ringer.

The text of Manukau's journey - a Manukau timeline may be used for purposes of private study or research, criticism and review, and education in ways that are consistent with the provisions of current New Zealand copyright law; however, neither the whole nor any part of the text may be copied by any means for commercial use or publication without permission in writing from Manukau Libraries.

In most cases, books and periodical articles listed as sources on Manukau's journey - a Manukau timeline are available for reference purposes at the Manukau Central Research Library. Users from outside Manukau City may be able to obtain these items at their own libraries or via interloan.

To obtain copies of newspaper articles, first identify the holding library or institution by referring to the Finding List of Counties-Manukau Newspapers (currently under development). To obtain copies of articles from newspapers which are uniquely held by Manukau Central Research Library, please contact Bruce Ringer. Please also provide an address and telephone number. Charges will apply. Restrictions apply to the copying of fragile materials.

Manuscript and archival materials listed as sources are available only via the respective holding libraries or institutions.

Copies of Whites Aviation photographs may be obtained from Geosmart Ltd. If you wish to obtain copies of other photographs, maps, documents, etc. held by Manukau Central Research Library, please enquire about copyright and privacy issues first (bringer@manukau.govt.nz). Please also provide an address and telephone number. Where copies are available, charges will apply.
