Bruce Ringer

Bruce devised the idea for Manukau's journey - a Manukau timeline in 2003 and has overseen its development since. Bruce grew up in Waiuku and attended Waiuku Primary School and Pukekohe High School. He has an MA in English from Auckland University (1974), DipNZLS (1977), and has taken several additional history papers, including a Masters paper in local history at Waikato University. Bruce has lived and worked in Manukau City for a number of years. His publications include a history of Hamilton Public Library, a bibliography of the Manukau Harbour, guides to New Zealand Government publications, and guides to cycle touring in New Zealand.
